I will be the first to admit. I roll my eyes when people say “You can do it” or “Anything is possible!”. I always feel that people say it just to say it……

There is something special about waking up early to go work out. You have the option to sleep in, but decide to go to the gym. You knew that you might make excuses, so you already had your gym clothes ready. You make it to the gym and have an amazing workout. Driving home, you are so thankful you did not sleep in.

There is something special about not gaining or losing weight in a week. Breaking even. Reading about other success storied who have lost five pounds that week, even eight. Knowing that you did well that week. Knowing that the scale is not going to break you. You just “keep on keeping on”.

There is something special about having the worst day ever. Nothing goes your way. Yet, you do not turn to food. Sure, maybe you watch way too much television. Maybe you go shopping and spend a little more money than you should. But not turning to food, like you have for the last few years ever.

There is something special about eating way too much food, and then sticking to your promise that tomorrow will be a different day. Rocking the next day, knowing that “all or nothing” exists, but your strength for your goals is stronger.Getting back on track, and looking back, but not walking backwards.

There is something special about sticking to a plan. A plan that you never thought you could.

There is something special about having your ring sized down

There is something special about getting a compliment

There is something special about inspiring yourself.

There is something special about learning what a success story truly is.

There is something special about falling. Having so many hands out there to get you back up, yet you look at them and say “Nah, I got it, thanks though!”

There is something special about completely changing the person you are.

There is something special about eating a fruit you never have.

There is something special about writing. Writing like no one is reading. Writing like it is a diary, not caring about any comment coming your way. Writing words in minutes because it makes sense.

I roll my eyes when people say “You can do it” or “Anything is possible!”. I always feel that people say it just to say it……

Yet actions speak louder than words. If I tell you those things it might mean something.

Maybe.

Once you start doing, everything makes sense and everything has meaning.
