So today was my “Back to Flex” day. Although I am eating the same, I just wanted to make sure I was eating enough, and wanted to make sure that I had all of my important daily items!
So my friend told me to get a scale and weigh everything. SO I made the WW people rich today, and splurged on a $40 scale. Don’t ask me why I bought it, I have 9 ounce scales at work. Anyway, I went to the computer to calculate my points. Now, when I was over 400 pounds, and starting with WW, I had 44 points. After losing 185 pounds, I am down to 35 points. That is it, I only lost 9 points in the weight loss? Not so impressive. So today, I was weighing everything, and putting all of my food in the little planner I pay $40 per month for. Before I tell you my food, I learned two important things…
1. Weigh everything. I don’t care what you say, there is no such thing as a 1 point apple. When I weighed my apples, they were between 2 and 3 points each. These were normal apples as well, not King Kong apples
2. I understand this “Zero Point” phenomenon, but lets face it, I am not eating a 1/2 cup of broccoli. Give me my points.

OK, so here is my “Daily Journal”

Morning
1 pound apples- 4.5 points
1 bag Beef Jerky-5 points (My guilty pleasure, high in protein though, and sodium)
5 oz apple- 1 point

Total 10.5 points

Midday
4 hard Boiled Eggs- 8 points
8 oz apple- 2 points ( By the way, I LOVE APPLES!!!!!)

Total 10 points

Evening
1 Serving packaged chicken- 4 points
3 3/4 cup broccoli, cauliflower and carrots- 2 points
12 cups plain popcorn- 7 points

Total 13 points

Anytime
1/3 cup FF Cottage Cheese- 1 point
1/2 cup Fiber One- 0 points

8 Each GG CrispBread– 2 points ( By the way, this is my favorite snack, thanks to Tanya Zuckerbrot. Some people hate them though, either way, check them out here.)
1/2 cup Salsa- 0 points

Total 34.5 points
Daily Allowance- 35 points
Remaining .5 points

Not bad, and I ate a good amount. I also got over 50 grams of fiber, which is so nice. Fiber is the key! Now, I did also track my activity points

Morning Elliptical Machine- 8 points (65 minutes)
Evening light Elliptical Machine- 3 points (30 min)
8338 steps at work- 3 points

SO I do have 14 activity points. Now what do I do with that? I am full, I do not want to eat any more. Oh well, does anyone want my activity points.

So, Day 1 on tracking my stuff was full. Cant wait for day 2!
